The work
Teaching has been a recurring part of my career, from college programming courses to enterprise accessibility training. I’ve developed learning materials, delivered live and recorded instruction, coached other instructors, and led training teams.
Product learning at Deque
I created a user-focused training program for axe Monitor, including instructor-led materials and self-paced classes. I also developed a train-the-trainer program and coached colleagues in delivering it.
Training leadership at Level Access
As Accessibility Training Manager, I designed role-based programs and customized engagements around client needs. I managed schedules and resources, coached the training team, and supported the operational and commercial side of the training department.
Learning inside product teams
At Oracle, I delivered training for UX, development, and QA teams, supported accessibility annotations in design work, and used office hours and engineering consultation to connect guidance with real questions.
A foundation in the classroom
At Henry Ford College, I taught beginning and advanced Flash animation and ActionScript programming. I developed course materials, lectures, demonstrations, projects, and assessments for students in the fine art department.
What this experience brings
Instruction grounded in the learner’s actual work, supported by the technical knowledge to answer the follow-up questions.
