Design-system context
Design systems bring individual interaction decisions into many products. At Oracle, I led accessibility for the Redwood Design System and Application Platform, working with designers, developers, researchers, QA, and customer-facing teams.
My contribution
I helped teams evaluate component behavior, choose appropriate semantics and keyboard models, and turn accessibility findings into design guidance engineers could act on. The work combined research, prototyping, specification, consultation, and education.
Leadership at scale
The larger responsibility was helping accessibility decisions travel: building team capability, connecting disciplines, and creating guidance that could improve many products rather than one isolated screen.
