The work
I founded and ran Landmine Design, a studio creating websites, print materials, and visual identities for a range of businesses. It gave me experience with the whole relationship between a client’s need and a delivered result.
My contribution
I gathered requirements, designed and developed websites, tested and maintained them, and provided hosting and email support. Projects involved HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Flash, PHP, and open-source shopping and content-management platforms.
Running the business
I managed employees, client relationships, business development, accounting, and finances. I coordinated schedules with clients, staff, and vendors while handling the everyday questions that continue after a project launches.
What this experience brings
Commercial awareness, broad delivery experience, and an appreciation for clear communication and ongoing support. Those habits have remained useful in enterprise consulting and team leadership.
